Dr. Cliff Olson
Dr. Phallon Doss
Dr. Phallon Doss is a leader in the field of audiology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Woman’s University, and received her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of North Texas. She has extensive experience in a wide range of audiologic procedures, including diagnostic hearing examinations, hearing aid selection and fitting, electrophysiology in the surgical setting, and cochlear implant programming. She is credited as performing the first cochlear implant activation in Schertz, TX.
Dr. Doss currently serves as the educational audiologist for the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District. She was recently named a San Antonio Business Journal 40 under 40 award winner. Dr. Doss has also been featured numerous publications including "O" the Oprah Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, San Antonio Woman Magazine, and San Antonio Magazine. In 2017, Dr. Doss received the honor of being named a Healthcare Hero by the San Antonio Business Journal and Doss Audiology was also selected as the Best Audiology Clinic in San Antonio by Senior Resource Guide. Dr. Doss has taught distance learning Diagnostic and Pediatric Audiology for the University of Guyana in South America and also served as a guest lecturer for the University of North Texas in the area of Private Practice Audiology. She is also a business consultant in the area of private practice audiology.
Dr. Jason Leyendecker
A graduate of A.T. Still University’s residential program, in 2010, Jason started working in a private practice in Edina, Minnesota. He served as lead audiologist until Jun of 2017, when he purchased his practice. Audiology Concepts LLC. Audiology Concepts currently has 5 locations and 10 providers (7 AuD, 3 HIS). The primary focus of this practice is audiology and hearing devices and has a separate tinnitus clinic called The Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Clinic of Minnesota.
In his short tenure Jason has served on several committees and is a board member for the Minnesota Sight and Hearing Association, recently elected to The Academy of Doctors of Audiology Board and serves on the Minnesota Academy of Audiology board. Jason served as an Adjunct assistant professor for A.T. Still University from 2016 to 2019 teaching the tinnitus management course.
When not at Audiology Concepts, you can find Jason spending time with his family in the great outdoors of northern Minnesota.
Dr. Dawn Heiman
I'm a clinical audiologist with my own private practice, Advanced Audiology Consultants, in Woodridge, Illinois. I am a clinical preceptor for Rush University's Audiology doctoral program. Over the past 20 years, I've worked in the non-profit hospital setting, in fast-paced ENT clinical environments, educational settings, as well as private practice. I've worked with patients of all ages. I've created EntreAudiology Mastermind to help coach and empower audiology practice owners to work with each other and share challenges and wins, so their practices improve upon their goals of helping more people.
I've also created the Hearing Aide Certification online course to help improve the basic hearing care knowledge of nurses and caregivers. Lastly, I've created the Hearing Wellness Journey online aural rehabilitation course to help empower people who wear hearing aids with the basic knowledge of hearing loss, how to better care for their instruments, strategies for listening in diverse listening situations, and challenge their listening skills with listening activities.
Jesse Aldous, H.I.S.
Jesse Aldous is a National Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist at Hearing Connection. He received his degree in electronic instrumentation at Idaho State University. His internship was at Fisher Labs in Orlando Florida. He worked for Phillips Hearing Center in Idaho Falls, ID for over 3 years.
Jesse was trained at the center for Excellence in Eden Prarie, MN by Bill Austin's team of hearing professionals. Bill Austin is the founder of Audibel and has fit the previous five presidents of the United States with hearing aids.
Jesse is very passionate about helping individuals who suffer from hearing impairment. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons, and daughter. He also enjoys horseback riding, hiking, hunting, and cooking.
Erik Sorenson
Erik is passionate about growing business. In his 18 years career, his marketing and strategy has helped companies reach a high level of growth.
It started in newspaper & radio, but Erik ventured off into the ad agency world where he opened his first agency in 2002 generating over $18 million in business before selling the agency in 2009.
In 2009, Erik formed Sorenson Advertising achieved over 900% growth since the first year in business and generated over $50 million in revenue before selling in 2016. He worked with companies like Walt Disney, TDS Telecom, The FBI, the US Air Force, Kia Motors, MaxxSouth Broadband, USA Communications to name a few.
Erik entered hearing healthcare in 2016 and purchased practices in the Phoenix area and is the co-founder of HearWorks. Erik is a marketer, public speaker, entrepreneur, and author.
